WHAT WE DO
Headroom Charity supports Young
People and their parents/carers
Headroom offers a free, 1-2-1 counselling service for young people – whatever is troubling you, however big or small, we’re here to listen. Our service is confidential and anyone aged 11-25 who lives in Rushmoor, Hart or Farnham area can self-refer to our free service. Just pick up the phone or send us an e mail!
Headroom are the local experts in Anger Management Counselling, our counsellors have helped over a thousand young people over the last 16 years and offer free specialist 1-2-1 support to all young people aged 11 to 25 years old who may be struggling with angry feelings and are worried about their angry behaviour.
Headroom offers support and practical guidance to those parenting or caring for young people aged 11 – 25 years old. Our counsellors have been working with parents of young people for over 10 years and have been able to transform family lives with our unique approach. Just call or email for an initial chat!

Where we work
We want to make our service as accessible as possible for young people, so we offer counselling at a variety of locations including local secondary schools, private counselling spaces in the area and local community buildings: You can refer yourselves in to the service in school directly or can ask a trusted member of the school’s staff to help put you in touch with us

Our team have 18 years specialist experience in supporting the young people of Rushmoor and the Surrey borders and our team of counsellors offer a friendly and highly professional service.
We always work to support the best interests of all our young people within the counselling standards, values and ethical framework of the counselling profession.
Your privacy is very important to us. Here's how we handle these situations.
What you say in counselling sessions is confidential within Headroom, other than in exceptional circumstances. If we are very worried about your safety, or that of others, we may need to let others know. We may for example need to get external help to keep you safe in addition to the support we can give you. We pride ourselves on our transparency and honesty and will never share your information with any other person without informing you of our intended actions first.
